1966 dream back to life!

Post by Axehandler » Fri Dec 23, 2016 8:07 pm

After 6 months and way more money and hours than my family thought was appropriate, the old girl went up and down the street under it's own power. I started, shifted, lights worked including brake lights and it stopped. I'm pretty pumped.
I am restoring two of these and it's sister, a 1968 model still needs the front wheel, exhaust and brakes.

It's always nice to hear another one gets to run again! I know how you feel when you go up and back on the road for the first time. Congratulations! Any Pictures?

Have a look at my 66 Ted if Axehandler won't post a pic.

I never thought to put my mirrors in an "upright" position before. How do you like them that way? OH... Casamere I've mentioned to you before that your Dream looks great!

Maybe Axehandler is having an upload issue with sizing his photos. Keep trying!!;)

Hi Jim, it was somehow that I rode with the mirrors that way in the 60s with my C95 but I do accept that you can see more with them horizontal but I have never changed.
