Dear All, Have had a CB77 lying around for a number of years, and am starting restoring/rebuild.
It is a 1966 (alloy front fork tubes), and I have found that only one of the fork legs has the spring guide (part no 51523-268-000). How critical are they, since there do not appear to be many to be obtained?
What are they made of (some sort of very thin plastic material?)? How easy would it be to make a new set?. Cheers, Arthur (in Australia).
Restoration starting - at last!I think that because Honda manufactured the forks with them, I'd want to replace them. You could probably make your own. I see Southern Powersports list them, but that doesn't mean they actually have them. It would be worth a try to order them though.
