Seat and tank removal

Post by ROBM50 » Thu May 26, 2016 9:41 am

What's the best sequence in removing both the tank and seat from the '66 Honda 305 Dream? It's hard to get to the screw and nut for seat just under the tank and the tank doesn't seem to have enough wiggle room unless seat is out of the way.

Pull the two rear bolts on the seat and it will slide off to the rear, removal of the front bolt isn't necessary, the seat just slips over it. As far as removing the tank, you'll probably need to remove the fuel bowl off the valve assembly, and it's still real close.
