Kisan's Charge Guard uses a current detector that is connected to battery negative and all other negative connections are made downstream of it. It also has a battery positive connection to power it. An RJ-11 jack connects the detector to the meter.
I like that connection.
Where could I get one?. .................lm

Thanks.
I'll collect the monies from parts sales and get one. Looks like a really easy test of the charge system. ..................lm
I like the look of that. On my 1961 CB72 someone had neatly grafted a Lucas ammeter into the headlamp for a similar purpose.

I was just looking at the on-line manual for the ChargeGuard and see that they've improved the current sensor. It no longer has the copper tabs. I think that's a good thing.
