Should these aluminum brackets be raw finish or painted silver? Was thinking about sandblasting them and just leaving them that way,but want it to be correct.Thanks...Dan

I've never noticed any that were anything but raw aluminium. I couldn't say from any example I have owned whether they may be clear coated or not!
Yeah, I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they make an excellent point!!!

They were cast and a minor amount of machining at the area of the cast flashing. No special finish of any type. ...................lm
