Dianne's C77
Started to polish the new paint on the '67 Dream and realized I can't do a high quality paint job 'cause my shop isn't clean enough - I have fine dust in my paint! Polishing just made it more obvious so I just switched to waxing and started to re-assemble the bike. I don't have the time or the inclination to start all over again. Oh well, at least I know better for next time - no more fancy paint without a proper spray booth!
Not really possible in a Canadian winter but I do all of my paint outside. You still get toubled by inquisitive bugs but much better than stirring up dust inside. Using a small HVLP gun means less air and more paint so you don't stir up the air (dust) as much....
Lots of work to get this far. Here is the 'before' picture..... :-) G
