crashbars/ highway bars questions

Post by choctaw » Sat Jan 02, 2016 2:32 pm

after looking everywhere to purchase a set of crash-bars for my 1966 Honda dream. I was on the look out for someone to please send me a picture of what they look like, and maybe measure a set for me and give the location for holes, threaded, location on the bars or maybe someone has a rusted out set for me to copy.To make my self, and have chromed. if these bars are in high demand
maybe,I can start making a few pair for others.thank you, Mike

Square tubing behind horn is side car mount but top crash bar mount is seen and it leads to top motor mount (without side car) - Bottom mounts have flat bar plates that lead to lower mounts on motor as seen

Hi,

Very nice bike with a stylisch sidecar ! But why do you need crash bars on such a combination ?
assembly of Japanese motorcycles requires great peace of mind (Pirsig)
