I hope you find some bargains. Here is my swingarm question. Do I have this swingarm installed properly? With inner and outer metal cap seals? Or is there supposed to just be an outer? My reason for asking is I only see the outer one on the CMS diagram.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Swingarm QuestionSteve, I gave you the part numbers for the rubber dust seals back in June, 52145-268-000, superseded by 52145-329-000. I thought you ordered them? If not here they are again. HT Steve
Thanks, I see that now. VAT bumps up the price for us Europeans. Yesterday, David Silver was selling "second quality" mufflers for £100 each at The Stafford Show. Apparently they are working on a new batch of better quality re-productions. I'm going to wait until those are ready. G

Here in Oregon we don't even have a sales tax. I like how David Silver Spares is willing to keep trying. And, if there is something lacking in their repros they are upfront about it and sell them at a discount. I just ordered their repro exhaust for my CBX project. Fingers Crossed. I found one of my new inner swingarm seals in my CB160 parts. I don't know, maybe the phone rang and I got distracted.... So I ordered one more. While I am waiting for another seal to show up I went ahead and worked on my carbs. I soda blasted my engine cases without damage so I soda blasted the carbs too. After that I ran them through two cycles in the ultrasonic cleaner. They were already full of new parts from the original owner so I resused those and just replaced the gaskets. KIMG1026 by Steve Steverinomeister, on Flickr Finally have the swingarm seals in placeMy swingarm seal showed up this afternoon so I got started taking off the mufflers and everything else right after dinner. This is the third or fourth time I've had the swingarm on and off so I am kind of used to doing it. I used this opportunity to adjust the muffler height using Alan's pipe technique. Thank You Alan. It took me about two hours to take it all apart and put it back together. Those wrong pieces were bugging the heck out of me and now I feel much better. I am trying to decide whether to put zerks or the original style grease fittings in the swingarm pin. Any opinions about that?
