Steverino's CB77Steverino's cb77Hi Steve,
I have just fitted a set of NOS mufflers and the right side one was 12mm higher than the left, I reckon it had been dropped on that side, the way to check is to measure the height of the two bottom brackets with the bike on a flat surface. It sounds drastic but all I did to get mine both the same is to bend the r/h bracket down and out, the opposite to the way it went when it was dropped. All you need is a piece of pipe that fits over the bracket, it goes real easy, the longer the pipe the easier it is to do. Al. David Silver Spares Header Pipes into CMS Mufflers fitmentIf you don't have mufflers and header pipes. I think this is the time to get them. I discovered today that the DSS header pipes are a good fit with the CMS mufflers. The pipes don't have the single curve like the originals but once they are mounted the double curve is less apparent. I couldn't believe how they slipped right into the mufflers and right up into the exhaust ports. The CMS mufflers are pretty close to oem, their flange is a little bigger than stock with some spot weld marks but they are a pretty nice copy. Also, right now they are on sale for about 200 USD each. I would be happy to take close up pictures of the mufflers if you are interested.
Thanks Chase for encouraging me to go ahead and try the DSS pipes. And thank you Alan for telling me how to adjust the mufflers. The bike is looking superb now. I just looked at the CMS site and their mufflers are 685 Euros each! How did you get them so cheaply? G

I hope you find some bargains. Here is my swingarm question. Do I have this swingarm installed properly? With inner and outer metal cap seals? Or is there supposed to just be an outer? My reason for asking is I only see the outer one on the CMS diagram. Thanks Steve KIMG1013 by Steve Steverinomeister, on Flickr
