The change happened at CB77E-1050998, so quite late on. The barrels are interchangeable but each has its own tensioner and gasket. The gasket you need is 14591-258-000 G

After reading the reports of ill fitting mufflers a few months ago I grew concerned about the two sets I had recently bought. I haven't been able to test fit them until now. I found out that all three mounting points line up and the eyelet (round) is exactly the correct size for the bolt. The left side might need some adjustment, if I can figure out how to do that because it seems to want to ride a little higher at the rear than the right side. The only possible adjustment point I can figure is possibly the bottom mount. I think I am going to try to find some decent original header pipes. KIMG0975 by Steve Steverinomeister, on Flickr

More muffler test fitting Advice More than WelcomeHere are some more pictures of the mufflers in place. I am not sure how far in or out they are supposed to ride. I should probably look at some pictures. Also, I figure I won't really know much until I try to fit the header pipes. I have a set of DSS but I don't know if I am even going to try to fit them.

I'm sorry I bothered you, I was looking at this picture and was wondering what the white / grey "dust" was. Anyway, good luck with your show, and thanks for time you took to respond to my post, have a nice day, Jensen
