New Whitewall TiresNew Whitewall TiresI have a 1968 Dream CA77 and would like to install some new whitewall tires on it. I see that Firestone sells a rear whitewall but I can't find a front whitewall tire. Any ideas where I might get one?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.[/quote] Coker sells the ones that say Firestone which can be used front and rear. I had a set, didn't like the way they handled. Good for show though. Had them 3 years, put on 3000 miles and the rear was worn out and both were cracked between the ribs - the rear first and worst. I went with blackwall shinko's. They've not been on long but handle well. 63 CA78

Maybe Portawalls? See http://portawallshop.com
whitewallsPlus one on the portawalls. The Firestones were nasty ass tires. Ride was frightening. The wereren't made near as well as the original Firestones. Very flimsy 2 ply. You could bend the bead with your fingers.
I know a few people here had positive results. Great looking tires for show though. JMHO

Thanks for all your input. I had never heard of portawalls and they seem like a good idea as my existing tires are still in great shape. I have a Goldwing and a Valkyrie for riding so this one will not be used very much. I doubt that I will put more than 100 miles a year on the bike. Still deciding though, again thanks for all your help.
