engine oil

Post by modelman » Sun Sep 06, 2015 2:09 pm

All I can find about the engine oil is 'SAE 30', is this still available?

I have a gallon of Castrol 30-40 semi-synth, can I use this, or will it screw up the clutch?

Or what's the modern equivalent.

Straight non-detergent SAE 30 is available. Probably better than it was in the 60's.
