68 305 exh valve dimension

hello, can someone please verify the 305 exh valve head diameter as one of mine was pitted and i received another one but the diameter of the new one is 1 mm smaller....thanks in advance, joe

You didn't specify CA or CB/CL, so I can only answer for CA72/77 prior to ser# 1024861 (per Mr. Silvers book). My 1964 CA77 has new exh and int valves which match the seats. The new exh valve dia is 1.044" (26.53mm). After that ser# they went to a "268" series which is the series # for the CB's which the book doesn't show valve diameters, only stem dim's. Hope this helps some.
