Well I was getting increasingly annoyed thinking about company shipping policies, having to ship twice, and time wasted. Grumble grumble.
Two little rubber rings! Rummaging through my shelves I found some leftover automotive heater hose. Made a little jig to hold the hose and an Olfa knife, and cut some appropriate short bits. Tight fit on the frame. The outside was a bit fat so I put it on a piece of dowel in a drill press and ran it against some emery backed by a square board. The eye of the shock was a little too tight to go on easily, but silicone grease, and working it while doing up the acorn nut, coaxed it on while the two bushings found their happy place. Up side - they are a good fit and will work just fine I am finished $0.00 The smile I get when "whatever you got engineering" works out ( it doesn't always) Down side - I sometimes drive myself nuts. And thanks again s2000erick.
