Ca77 jets

I was reading on another post that the carb repair kit for the PW22 has the incorrect jets. The kit comes with jet sizes 140 and 35, my carb came with 130 and 40. Should I have left the original jets in? My bike wasn't running when I got it so I bought a rebuild kit and went with it. What would be the typical symptoms of having these incorrect jets installed and what could I expect if I went back to my original size jets.

Originals in my '66 were 120 and 35 and work best for mine.
I'm at 2500' elev.
Various kits have differing sizes and jet manufacturers.
Original Keihin jets have a "K" stamp near the size number.
Differences in elevation, intake and exhaust mods all can affect the size that is best.
My guess is that 140 is way too big, and even 130 was too rich for mine.
Plug chops or dyno tune are 2 ways to make sure.

Brewsky,I'll do a plug chop this weekend. I am at 407 ft elevation, do you think a 120 main would still work fine?

Probably will, if you are running stock filter and mufflers.

Here in Denver we are 5,280ft elevation.

I'm looking for a guide to adjusting my carb ( which screws do what etc and how to tune it ) and what jets would work best for my elevation
