G, Yes, it has been very helpful, and I have used it on 3 different bikes so far. It is most helpful in identifying which circuit needs tweaking under actual riding conditions, and saves multiple plug chops. Not so necessary on completely stock intake and exhaust, since stock jetting in that case is usually best all for around conditions. But when using aftermarket air filters and pipes, it has been a time saver. 66 dream, 78 cb750k, 02fz1, 09 wing
G, The meter is connected to a controller which receives input from a wide band o2 sensor installed in the exhaust. The controller has some limited memory, and can store readings for some period of time for later display on a PC etc. (I haven't used that capability yet) The main drawback is you have to install a bung in the exhaust pipe or muffler within 30" of the exhaust port.

I actually could not figure out a way to attach my mufflers to the swingarm with the chain guards still on there so I sold the chain guards. How did you attach yours?? Also, slice up a soda can and use those as buffers between the clamp and the muffler. You can't even see mine and they worked great! 1964 CA72
