chrome fenders

Post by Atlas » Fri Apr 03, 2015 2:44 pm

I recently purchased a 1966 superhawk with chrome fenders. I don't remember ever seeing chrome fenders on a superhawk. Did it come with them or were they chromed later? Thanks for any light that anyone can shed on this matter. Atlas

I was told here on this forum that my fenders should be silver. Mine on my 64 are chrome also.
I am not sure if they are going to stay chrome. Just working on the engine right now.

If you look in the Dream (CA72, CA77, etc) section of this forum under the topic "chrome side covers", I posted a picture of a factory Dream with very strange chrome accessories.

I would link you right to it, but for some reason in this forum you can't copy and paste a link to it?

Perhaps mine came off a later year. They appear to be factory fenders as the front is shaped a bit different than the gray fenders I have seen. My CB is a 66 frame #CB-77 1023836 Thanks for the input
