CB77 front axle spacer?CB77 front axle spacer?I am trying to assemble my front end and it came with no spacers. All of the fiche I have found shows an earlier assembly not like mine. I think my bike is a 64.
Can someone provide me a pic of the axle off the bike and maybe some close up shots of each side assembled? Thanks!! KP As near as I can tell this is the spacer I need but I can't figure out where it goes or how it fits. My wheel installed almost looks like it needs spacers on either side in order to center the wheel. The speedo drive is in place.

There are no extra spacers on the steel slider forks that I have had. The speedo gear box is the only spacer. The axle goes through the left side with the speedo gear box, threaded end and nut on the right side. The thicker end gets secured by a pinch bolt in the left steel slider. Pics may help get your situation sorted out.
HT Ohhhhh... It came with some wacky spacer that I knew was not right. I never considered no spacer!
I think my wheel is in backwards? I have the speedo drive on the right side when on the bike. This puts the brake plate on the left. I am more confused now than before I posted! Feels like I am heading in the right direction though lol.
That's the way it is supposed to be. Do you have the steel sliders on the correct sides? There is a left one and a right one, each unique. That's why I suggested photos so we can see what you are dealing with. HT
