Steverino's CB77Steverino's CB77I didn't find this bike, it found me.
A friend of mine stopped by the Honda shop and asked them if they knew anybody who could help him disperse his collection. They referred him to me. After looking at some of his bikes I agreed to part some of them out, and in trade for refurbishing his favorite, I would get one of the others for my own. I hadn't seen this one yet. I didn't even know he had it. A week or two later I went out to my RV shed to get something and there it was, I was stunned. My friend had dropped it off to see if I would sell it for him. I told him if I could choose any bike on this planet to restore it would be this one. He kindly agreed to trade it for the refurb of his bike. I still have a month or two of work left to do on Jim's bike and I told him I will not turn a wrench on this bike until his is finished and back in his hands, but I sure am enjoying looking at it. All the fuel was drained from the tank and carbs when it was taken off the road, so the tank and carbs are very clean. I found the key wired to the frame. It hasn't been modified or messed with so far as I can tell and the muffs still have their baffles. 4500 miles. I would like to know if these are the original tires though.
