You're a lucky man, seems you have beautiful scenery to view and the perfect vehicle from which to view it!

Thanks my friend. It was a great day and although I wanted to stay at the C200 I really enjoyed riding around listening to my Ipod and enjoying the view. These days are getting short for doing that over here on this end!

Tonight I took all the C200's wiring, horn, switches and handlebar controls and did a continuity test of all of it. Tested the horn and the other components plus cleaned and painted them. I had to make a few wiring repairs which I used solder and heat shrink to do and was glad I made the tests. I would rather find the problems now than when the bike is assembled. Picture includes all new cables, NOS foot peg rubbers and the dozens of other items that have to be completely checked out before assembly. Paul

This morning I bead blasted some of the parts that I intended on painting black. Now that they are painted that means all the painting is now completed and I'll start in on the motor next. Paul

All the parts for the C200 came back from the Re-chromers. Wow I just love fresh chrome!

Installed the toaster ends on the gas tank. Folks who have dropped by the shop today really liked the color against the chrome. Another step closer! Paul

Time to start at the motor. After 41 years it's due for a good cleaning!

Actually, to me, that engine looks remarkably well for being 41 years old.

Or maybe I've just had the bad luck to have seen a lot of really badly cared for engines :)
