Need some help on getting a title.

I'd take the guy up on his offer of getting proof before going into anything. That would keep the last titled owner from claiming it.
Just thinking back about what I'd have to do in Pa. for the Kaw was I would have had to go before a judge to get a decision on ownership. Don't know what the laws are in WVa.

Texas has a "bonded title" - you get a bond from and insurance company which will cover any title problems - after three years you are issued a regular title.

Well I guess I will have to make a trip to the DMV one day and see what they have to say about getting a title. I really hate going to them because most of the time it is a long wait. I have even went early in the morning and people was lined up outside waiting for the door to open. Thanks for all the advice and keep it coming I have a feeling I am going to need all the help I can get.
When I googled getting a title for a motorcycle that had no titles I seen that some was saying Vermont will issues registrations and titles for even out of state people. I find this hard to beleive, but who knows maybe Vermont really needs the money, LOL.
I know that there are companies that will get your titles, but it is not cheap.
