The Dream is ready for the Naples Concours d'Elegance
Summary- Engine completely rebuilt (top end twice, because I learned the hard way that Wiseco pistons were a bad choice. Only NOS for 305's from now on for me)
- No Paint or anodizing on engine - Cylinder and head were vapor honed and the cases were polished to a mirror finish. - Pitted chrome was copper platted and buffed down over and over until pits were filled - then nickel & chrome over smooth surfaces. - Found NOS exhaust system, but with some shelf-wear. Had it re-chromed. - Built and installed a new wiring harness. - New Coker re-pop Firestone tires. I have one new original tire, and am searching for another to make it 100%. - Complete new paint in the original Royal Blue - All black parts were powder-coated. No rattle-can paint - All nuts, bolts, and brackets got a fresh zinc plate (or chrome, as appropriate) - Complete seat re-build (padding, cover, polish stainless trim, powdercoat frame, de-rust and re-zinc springs. - Rebuilt and restored speedometer. - New battery and NOS tool kit. - Much, much, much, much more.........Nothing was left untouched. Everything is as-new or better.
