The white tag on the harness is somewhere in the mid-section between air filter and tank.

Just noticed that your steering lock cover has been painted over. Shoul be chrome plated. I wonder why?

Yea...you can see on both the lock and the stem hardware that someone sprayed some paint in there and a few other places including the tank and frame. It's a shame...but at least that's the worst example of over-spray and the color does seem to match. I'm thinking maybe they did it to address paint fade. MGH

Having just rebuilt my Dream 305, I will say that although it is a shame those were spray painted, a brass bristled brush or some carb cleaner or paint remover will bring those parts back pretty easily. I'm thinking of the steering damper and the lock cover. So if you don't like it, you don't have to live with it... :-)
