What a concept - A Girl Bringing Back Her 1966 Super HawkSara
Those are lovely sentiments and, to (badly) quote Winston Churchill - It's just the end of the beginning..... You are entering a new chapter now.... Thirty-Eight years? I was just thinking about my first and only ride on my brother's CB72 when I was about 14. That bike just left a lasting impression on me and has driven me in the last four years to acquire a pile of 'projects' to restore. I have ridden and restored a variety of bikes since the age of about 12 but I am excited at the possibility that this year I may actually ride my very own CB77 for the first time. That's a 42 year gap for me and it's going to be quite an anti-climax if it doesn't live up to expectations..... :-) I hope you have lots of safe and enjoyable trips on your old girl. Graham, I hope to meet many of the folks I've come to know here, through this common connection we have - the love of a certain breed of old motorcycle - and will be just a part of the adventures I have on my old friend. I'm surprised you do not have a completed CB77 in your stable!!! I had thought all this time that you did. I can assure you it will live up to your expectations! ~~Sara 1965 CB77 305 Super Hawk

Two shots from today! I want to all to know she is not finished, I have small things to do, and I'll keep this log going until she and I get a good long ride under our belts. Then I'll start another thread somewhere else!
