tires

Post by twoleggedsnake » Fri Dec 27, 2013 5:35 pm

Any advice on tires for my 305 dream project. Thinking to use 3.25-16 on front and 3.50-16 on rear, as opposed to 3.25 front and rear. thanks for any help

I put these blackwalls on a red Dream this summer and I kinda like them. I got them from Coker for $112 to my door. They aren't advertised on their site because they are old inventory. Not quite as "sticky" as brand new tires, but they have a period correct tread and as long as you're not racing... If you're interested, call Coker and ask for:

3.25-16 Goodyear Ribbed Vintage M/C Tire 63280
3.25-16 Firestone Rear Vintage M/C Tire 63287

I've seen these tires on other sites too, but Coker is the only one that had both.

Why not use the right size?
