Sara

Motorcycles and giggling - it's what keeps us young.......

To quote from John Cleese " You should never confuse seriousness with solemnity "

I'm looking forward to seeing your Honda in one piece. I added a Honda XL250 Motosport to my hoard and I keep getting tempted by Suzuki T20 Super Sixes (X6 in America?). Bikes should be narrow small and light.....

Slow but steady progress. I was going to install the petcock this afternoon, but I've forgotten to replace the (rotted out) brass tube in it. I have to find one. I'm right up to starting her up for the first time. I'm a little afraid to, though!!! Can you blame me?

The rear fender, which I tried to "get away with" (not acceptable) painting over is now stripped. It will be sanded, primed and repainted.

Sara

I would be tempted to just sit in the 'shop next to that and just smile..... :-)

Lovely work.

I saw a CB77 at the Stafford show which had been restored by a "professional restorer". It didn't look at all special or even correct. You will be proud of yours when it is finished but beware the infectious disease that is motorcycle restoration.

I friend of mine once made the lovely statement "if you want me to be more professional, you just have to pay me more money....... "

Take care
