Will try the staic test. Had the filters off yesterday to make sure the slides were lifting in unison and also to see that they were not hanging up while it was running, everything checked out and went for a ride with the cleaners off. Kept waiting for the problem to rear it's ugly head and it never did! came back after a good ride set the idle and mixture and it,s like it always was, a great running bike. The filters didn't look dirty, 2100 km on them cleaned them anyway and will reinstall them tomorrow and go for a ride. I never guessed to look there for the cause. Any thoughts on that weird one? As usual thanks for all the advice.
