I broke a bolt off in the top triple clamp (one of the handlebar clamp bolts). I've got to take the clamp down to a machinist and get the bolt extracted. Always something.
I've got the forks off the T-stem, and they need seals. I have to figure out how to get at them. That chrome "seal cover" needs to come off each leg, I'm guessing. The front brakes look really good - and I mean really good, not "Sara First Impression Good". The rims are kind of crappy, and I'll make a final decision on them at some point. I may refit them as is, but cleaned, and replace them later. I'll shoot the frame sometime next week. I want to get a bunch of black parts prepped first - the fork ears, sliders, covers, grab handle and center stand. That way I can do them all at once. The tank is going to go to a "professional". Fenders and side covers I may do myself with Duplicolor. I'll try it on the side overs and see what results I get. Getting close!!! 1965 CB77 305 Super Hawk

Nice work on the frame.... For the seal holders you either need a strap wrench or G-Man's universal infallible seal holder tool. Works on CB / CL and CB160..... I saw those dimples in the shroud. I was thinking a shock preload tool would fit, however the diameter of the shroud is probably too much. Heat I can do! I spent a few days on a mini vacation with my SO, so I didn't get to the bike the past few days. However, next week - full court press! 1965 CB77 305 Super Hawk

Hi, Bob! Well, actually all I did was replace a torn section of tubing, right at the headset, and I replaced four bayonet connectors. The tape wrapping on the harness overall is fine, I just cleaned it all up. I did use a roll of new tape to secure and seal the new tubing to the rest of the harness. The cost? Frame is painted, but it does need a second coat. But, wow, did it come out NICELY! That 66AutoColor paint is GREAT stuff!
