Wow - hard to pass up at that price! The shortys are $19.88 a piece from "powersportsuperstore.com." I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the chrome for China-made. The tapered ones are probably of similar quality and I like them better on the Dreams, but I was on a tighter budget for the rat-bike!

Can't beat that sound either! Can't stop watching that video I posted just to hear it. I hope they aren't too loud in person. I would hate to wake my baby up or tick the neighbors off.

I just wish the long ones were the same length as the stock or closer atleast... They look too short to me. Could always extend the headers further back to make up the difference though.

I just put Emgo 80-03310 12" "shorty" mufflers on a Dream and was quite pleased with the sound. Got those from powersportsuperstore.com for less than $20 each plus shipping but I don't think they have the tapered ones.
In either case, you'll need 1-5/8" clamps and some .010" shim stock. You will also need to fabricate mounting brackets. I picked up the M10 threaded rod from the original mounts and made a couple of short links to the studs on the mufflers.
I really like the way you trimmed up your rear fender! I was thinking about making my CA77 look more like a cafe racer and I think that I will add that to my too do list.
Any tips on cutting the fender and remounting the brake light and tut signal brackets would be much appreciated!
Thanks for the help!

Thanks, but I can't take credit for that. Someone had cut the back fender off completely at the shock mount and welded on the short chrome one. It would be much easier to just chop the original one to the length you want unless you really need the chrome look back there. They just drilled new holes for the tail light bracket. In Ohio, we don't need turn signals on these bikes so I don't mess with those but I think they would mount up in the usual way to the fender brackets.
btw - Still looking for a left side cover (late, short battery) for it.
