I think I can help but it's a little more difficult to find that the pic isn't actual but a sort of like.
Could be your bike has the perch without the threaded area and used a 2 piece mirror with a band sort of thing which warped around the bar.
Any help?.........lm

Just going by what i was told..............there is no other place for mirrors to mount. Ive also had others with early dreams say their mirrors are similar. Like i said............im here to learn but im no child so please dont speak to me as such. Thanks for your input.

Ed......the later two pics are of my bike. Each mirror does have a chrome "band" and not that tighten to the handle bars and other end of "band" (more like a stud) is a hole where mirror slides through and is tighten and adjusted to height. I believe I have noticed...........since I put glasses on.......that the rod unscrews from mirror itself.........Hard to tell ......vision is horrible................Maybe i can soak...........tighten the one adjustment screw on back side of mirror really tight...............and hold somehow and unscrew rod. Thanks for your help
