6mm Pan Head screws

Post by Ford Guy » Mon Mar 04, 2013 6:31 am

Ok I am officially geting old. Last year I purchaced a Pan Head screw set for the engine side covers from someone on the internet. They were a pretty close copy of the originals. THe problem is I cannot find his website again. I need some more screws (long story) and was thinking it might be easier to find the website again and order the set. THis guy had a complete set for the CL/CB 77's.. Does anyone know the website or who this is? Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Jon

I've been ordering Honda parts from partzilla.com. I think all the 6mm screws except maybe the 115mm long one at the oil filter cover are available as Honda parts (93500-06040, 45,50, etc.). Usually shipping kills this if screws are all you're buying, but if you keep the order under $10 they will ship USPS First-Class for $1.75 (just specify in the "shipping notes"). This way, you get exactly what you need and the heads are exactly like the originals, except zinc instead of cad plated. I think the screws are .50-.60 a piece depending on length.

48 you are correct. I went to Honda and ordered all but the 115. Ed Moore suggested I find a longer one and cut it down which is what I shall do. Also Brewsky you are correct that is the place. Thanks guys

McMaster Carr has the correct J.I.S. spec screws you are looking for in any quantity you need. way cheaper than Honda and the same screw.
Good Luck

Randy,
Have you been able to purchase less than a full package quantity from them?

They are definitely cheaper, but looks like you have to buy by the pack of 25, 50 or 100?
