Anyone want to share pics of 61 honda dream?
Oh well now we do know how to play football.........lol. I'm actually an Auburn fan...............yeah......bad season for certain. However, I'm with you on that one. I would have loved to see Oregon play Bama this year. That would be a much better match up than Notre Dame. But......I still don't think anyone can match Bama in the second half....super tough team. It's hard to admit that.........lol
As Paul notes.......it's not that hard to respoke the wheel but the truing that is the trick. I simply allow the guys with the proper equipment do that. Doing it two or three times a decade doesn't make anything else worth it. As far as a lack of places to do it, living where I do makes it difficult to find those who know how to do things like this any longer also but with a little effort I can usually find someone.
truing and balancingRe-lacing wheels, truing and balancing are tedious jobs but not that hard once you (eventually) get the hang of it.
Doesn't really require anything fancy in the way of equipment. Outboard end of axle is suspended by a wire from overhead rafter... Here's one pretty good explanation, there are plenty of others out there: http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle- ... ke-wheels/ '62 CB77. "It's a rider."
That's a nice setup! I've always wanted to learn to tru a wheel, but I'm not sure I've got the patience for it... It already takes me two years or so to restore a Honda, that would add at least one more!
And BTW, not sure if Bama could keep up with Oregon in the second half.... I sure would have liked to see what would happen. I can't imagine Notre Dame hanging with Bama.... CB72, CL72, CS72, CYP77
