What a concept - A Girl Bringing Back Her 1966 Super Hawk
My mom used to make Rhubarb Pie - "Roobob" she pronounced it (she was from Eastern Long Island). It was wonderful! I've never made it, however (I didn't inherit the cooking gene - I got my uncle's mechanical gene instead).
Tango, thank you, thank you! I'll head for Ace hardware today and pick up a container. I'll try it on one of my original (with a hole in it) mufflers. I imagine it will work on my rusty rims, yes? And, Happy Holidays to you! G, I just read over your bike collection. Again. I saw it for the first time - you have a CB400F! I always coveted that bike, but never owned one. Maybe one day! Happy Holidays to you, my friend. Tom, it was great to hear from you, it's been a long time. By the way, the header pipe you sent me looks quite nice, now, and will match the "used, but taken care of" appearance of the bike (when it's done) perfectly. I thank you again! 1965 CB77 305 Super Hawk

Yes - the CB400F. I've owned mine from new. Paid cash for it in instalments from my girlfriends Uncle's bike shop. Put 14,000 miles on it in the first year in all weathers (real English salty weather) and covered about 35,000 before rust got the better of it. In '94 I did a total restoration and still have the bike. Not many miles since, though. A really great bike. It took us to the south of France and back with no trouble. Just needed an oil change half way through the trip..... Happy days. My Restored CB400F2 by graham.curtis, on Flickr On my way to Kansas tomorrow. A bit sunnier than dear old England, I hope... Tango911 Fantastic! I wonder if they'll let me take some of that stuff home on the plane? :-) Happy Holidays to you all too! G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72

Well, Graham, being a little familiar with your work, I'd wager that 400F is immaculate. I had a chance to buy one new back in 1976, and I bought a Kawasaki 400 instead. What was I thinking?????
Kansas? It should be cool, but okay. Safe travels! Tango - one word - wow! I'm sold. Thank you again! 1965 CB77 305 Super Hawk

Sara, I can't take credit for that header pipe, it didn't come from me. Maybe Ed sent it. Best Regards- Tom
