48 - It was slightly tempting but the rust was so bad and chrome was peeling enough to leave splinters in your hands. I'm guessing at less than 5000 miles before the bike was laid up in that leaky shed.
When I was a kid we would've just thrown some diesel over it and got the motor freed up. It would have probably then been thrashed around the fields until it expired completely.
The seat is in pretty good shape but I think that the stitching will be completely rotten. I have pretty much everything to make a really nice restoration but my unexpected return to full-time employment and travel means that progress is rather glacial.
I can still skulk around on eBay though as I travel around.... :-)
