CA77 CB77 Carburetor

Do any of you guys know if the CA77 and CB77 use the same carburetor? I've started rebuilding my father's 1964 Dream which has been sitting in my family's storage building, mostly dismantled, for the better part of 15 years now. He had a few problems he wanted to fix and personal changes he wanted to make to it, but one of the main issues was the carburetor, and I figure since the carburetor has been dismantled and collecting dust for such a long time, it wouldn't hurt to rebuild or replace it. I've found kits and refurbished carburetors for the CB77 but I haven't found much listed for the CA77 so I was wondering if I could just go with carburetor parts listed for the CB77.

I do not have access to a camera at the moment, but after an extensive search of Google images I have found a picture that matches the carburetor I'm working with. My carburetor is stamped PD and 98A like the one pictured and after viewing other pictures at different angles submitted by the carburetor's owner I'm completely sure that this picture is a match for my carburetor.

Well, I hadn't really researched the differences between the CA77 and CB77 so I didn't realize the CB77 had dual carburetors. I'm going to assume the dual carburetor setup on the CB77 utilized different carburetors than the single carburetor setup on the CA77.

If anyone happens to recognize the carburetor in the picture I attached in the above post, information would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT:
After further research, I'm beginning to wonder if this is even the original carburetor for the bike. All the CA77 and CA72 carburetor pictures I've seen look noticeably different compared to my carburetor.

I'm quite anxious to get the carburetor rebuilt or replaced since it is likely the only thing preventing the bike from starting.

That carb looks like it comes from a smaller bike. The carbs for these bikes are quite expensive when they come up. Place a wanted ad in the classifieds on this site and someone will come to your rescue.

I was thinking it looked like something off a later model bike in the range of 150 CC or something. Might explain why it wasn't running so well when my father dismantled it years ago.

What kind of price range should I expect to pay?

Hi Jacob. My carb is stamped pw22. I believe that is the proper carb you need.

Yeah, I was thinking PW22 was the right carburetor, now I just have to find a carburetor and a throttle cable. I'm kind of wondering if I step the idle up a little on the carburetor if I'd be able to take it out around town (25 mph speed limits) and get around decently without using the throttle. Wouldn't be ideal, but at least I could take it out and see if everything still works.
