So are they well made? I imagine new rubber would be better than old, so long as the quality is still good and sizing accurate.

Those seals from RetroBikes are not NOS. They are brand new made in Taiwan. I have spoken with Terry personally about this and he also tells me they are working on getting CB77/CB72 speedo rubber gaskets reproduced.

Heck of a buy considering NOS sets are $40-$50 plus shipping for 40+ year old pieces.

rzgkane- You bought two of the same kind? I thought you needed a starter sprocket seal and a crankshaft seal, those are different size seals right?

HoosierTom- I'm thinking of buying the whole set because it's so cheap and I'll get a whole set, in case I lose others in the future. This is a dumb question, but since they're not labeled and some look similar in size in the picture, how do I know which one is the correct seal? Are the ones that look about the same size actually exactly the same?

And the last thing, is there anywhere I can find a more thorough description of what all this stuff looks like when you pull it apart, as well as exactly how the rotor pulls off? Or, does the whole thing just become obvious as you start peeling parts away from this area?

Yup. For $3 I figured it'd be a good idea to have two at the ready. I ruined the first crank seal without a backup and that experience taught me to have spares on standby.

Yes. I ordered a complete seal kit from one ebay guy, a crank seal from two other ebay guys, and two starter sprocket seals from the Irvine supplier just in case. Now I have extras just in case I need 'em.
