finally finished

Post by jimpapa » Sun May 13, 2012 8:59 pm

with lots of help from all the fine folks here she's finally finished.
a bunch of small issues but nothing i wasn't able to overcome.
the 65 dream with the heart of a cb77 hit the road today.
got her up to 100 /kph and there was much more still to come.
new tires (kenda 671's)
port- a-wall inserts
new seat cover.
home done paint job.
new wires/condenser/plugs.
unbelievable how it seems everyone you pass in the neighbourhood smiles and takes a good look.
i'd take a Dream over a any Harley any day.
here are the final pics

Looking good!
If you flip those tank emblems around, it should be good for another 10 mph on the top end!

Looks really good. I like your winkers. Where did you get them? Do they put any drain on your battery?

Nice, I was trying to find a set to add to mine and thats exactly the way I wanted them to mount up. I'll have to keep my eyes out for them.

All civilised countries had them....... :-)

The genuine Honda items are very expensive if you can find them, especially the fronts and the handlebar switch.
