My first 305 back in 1965, had painted fenders and if this bike came with painted fenders, would love to go back to that. If they were painted, will do one of two things to correct the fenders, either strip the chrome, fill the holes, then paint, or trade for a good set of painted fenders.

I also notice that the shocks are chrome also, thought those were painted too.

To many parts incorrect for the numbers ya give.
Someone has installed incorrect parts at some time. .........lm

I agree lm, am trying to identify and work on a list of incorrect items, and correct those.

Where are you located? I have a pair of painted fenders and would be interseted in trading if your chrome ones are in good shape.
