Pictures

Post by MR835 » Fri Jun 10, 2011 2:20 am

Hi Guys,
a bit of back story....I picked the bike up last year from rimuk, who some of you may know is a man in the fortunate business of buying peoples vast collections of motorbikes from around the world. Apparently my bike was part of a deceased Honda collector in the UK. This collection had grown to such proportions that apparently the garden was littered with bikes and even some stuffed in the hedges!
All I know about the bike is what was written on the label, I believe the collector was trying to amass the parts to put it back to its original spec. The racer Dave Boxhall like I said was an Australian who I assume used to race the bike in the UK; details on this were sparse.
Anyhow, on with the pictures....and before anyone mentions it, it's not a monoshock, the other one is somewhere in the garage. Oh and I know the lawn needs to be cut too! :)

Post by GORDON BROWN » Sat Jul 02, 2011 11:51 am

Hello everyone

MR835, that look like the start of a good project ! you should get some empty engine cases, cyl, head etc. and see how it will look. I hope you can find some more info. on it.

Hopefully I am attaching some pages from what I assume to be the Racing Service Club /CYB Sport Kit this seems to be a extension to what was available as CYB no's. in the back of the normal parts book ?
This is realy anorak stuff but may intrest someone out there. The picture quality is poor and I got one upside down

Here's a couple of pics I thought you guys might enjoy.
One of my pals in CA saw this in the pits at Willow Springs last week.
I don't know anything about it but it's a very nice looking bike.

I remember Dave Boxhall from way back. He was a very good racer and I think at one time held the lap record for the Cadwell park short course. I remember him saying that they rebuilt the crank after 3 races. I replaced mine when it broke!
