----------- 67 CL77 I have to agree. He describes the bike as a gorgeous, one-owner original and then proceeds to turn it into just another cut up, glitzed up piece of custom crapola to serve as a penis replacement for some insecure toad.
They people that rip into classic pieces and cob them up like this are shallow, lookit me types. They have no appreciation for what the original represents. It's not much different than all the Hollywood types getting their lips injected until they look more like a bathroom plunger than a human. If you want to build something custom, start with something too far gone to restore. Don't chop up an original. Enough of that was done when they were new. And look how much everyone loves them now. Most cannot be given away let alone sold. And please do not read into this that I'm dumping on folks who build custom bikes, cars, whatever. I can appreciate the art form, and some do amazing things with their creations, although most of them do very little for me. regards, Rob I have to agree as well, as a restorer, and a builder of customs! When I do a custom, it's always done with mismatched frames and engines, parts borrowed from other models, and a light dose of a/m parts. I try to keep them true to the time period, no billet cnc'd jewelry! I f---ked up every Honda I had when I was young, trying to make them something they weren't!
