Trading my Dream

Post by Ape » Fri Aug 12, 2011 10:11 pm

I'm probably going to regret this but I've got a 65(?) 305 Dream that I'm looking to trade for a Rebel. Its a long shot but I can try right? Looking to trade straight up as I can't add cash to sweetn the pot right now but I can throw in that I'll bring the bike to you. Heck I'll even unload it for ya and load the Rebel while you have a beer. Heck, I'll throw in a 6 pack of your faviorate brew too! But before ya start calling about wanting to trade the rusty Rebel out of your back yard, Don't. Just don't.. Also keep it fairly close to Bowman, GA please... Have you seen gas prices these days?

Little info on the Dream,
Missing tank badges and left side carb cover. Needs throttle cable for sure also a carb rebuild and a fuel tap rebuild kit. Engine kicks over easy too btw. Only thing I've had the cash to do so far is wash her and clean the tank which still needs to be sealed and I'll throw in my quart of beloved red kote so you can enjoy the smell.

you should part that think out and youd make enough money to buy yourself 2 rebels. Not sure why you would want a rebel over a Dream but ok :P

Good point, but I'd hate to part out such a beauty. And trust me I've asked myself that quiet a bit but I need something to ride asap and I prefer smaller bikes over the road hogs I've had in the past.

EDIT: forgot to mention that this deal might fall threw at anytime as I've got a few things up for this trade

Does it have a clear title in your name?

No title since pre-1985 can be sold/bought with a bill of sale in the state of Georgia and I pretty much bought it then stuck it back in storage. Also, Pennsylvania is way to far anyway.
