Is that your best guess or are you certain? Seems like a funky place for a helmet holder.

To my knowledge, this bike did not come with turn signals. Correct me if I am wrong. It's a 1967 Super Hawk.

It IS a Helmet Holder as the feller stated.
It wasn't installed at the factory but was/could be added by the HONDA shop or owner.
It IS a real HONDA part. .............lm
