BASEMENT BIKE

Post by linmictil » Thu Jun 30, 2011 4:10 pm

Finally!!!! Just got a call that my cylinder head was done. Going to pick it up tomorrow and then stage two begins...... Been a couple weeks of doing chores and I am tired of it. Time to do a little wrenching... Anxious to hear it running again after 45 years!! [/b]

Back in the cradle again. Lot easier than pulling it out. Should be able to see if I did things right in a week or two. Daughter and grandson visiting cutting my garage time down!

Good Find...

Congrats on the bike and the 66 tag. I have been looking for one here in Florida that is for Volusia County. They started with an 8- then the number. I found a collection of Volusia County bike plates online with the number 8-303 for about 10 years in the 60's but they aren't for sale so the quest continues! Good luck on your bike! Tim

Well-- here it is... Not your classic Scrambler but back to the way it was when I put it away. Got a small oil leak. Nothing that a new seal won't fix...... Now maybe I can cut the grass
