Ok got the petcock fixed. ran it for a while with the right side cover off, no oil leaks. ran it around the block thinking the leak may be coming from the sprocket shaft seal. still no oil leak. put the side cover back on, now it's leaking again..any thoughts why it's only leaking when the side cover is on?

I'd be looking at the clutch lifter seal...

Ok I finally got a good look into the oil leak and like stated above the clutch push rod seal is leaking. also the push rod it's self has some scarring around it.. I already ordered a new seal. but need to find a good push rod. anyone have one they want to sell?. I looked on eBay and didn't find much.

Updates!

Got the new starter solinoid and put it on. starter button is working as it should now!
took it down and did the title transfer. I thought this was going to be a pain as the title was out of state. and had been signed off in 1985, Plus the notery stamp had bleed through and made reading the serial #s hard. so figured they would make me file for bonded title. well I lucked out and got an inspector that knew his Honda Dreams and took the time to read the serial #s on the title. gave me a passing grade and now the title is in my name!..Woo-Hoo

Got in the new cluch rod seal and ut that on, now just waiting on the rod i ordered. that should take care of my oil leak.

ordered new Fishtail pipes. rear tail light. and now trying to find some new W/W tires. this project is moving in the right direction!

Don't trash those old whitewall tires. The are still worth $$$. I sold worse ones on ebay for $75.00 each.
