Yeah, it's quite the dilemma. But if you do decide to sell it, let me know, send a price my way and I will see if I can swing it. jakestoltz@yahoo.com

By the way guys,

What would you say is a fair price for a decent shape, not completely restored one versus a mint CB77?

all depends on location, what has been done to it, what it needs, ,how original, how custom, And what you are looking for in some circles a bike that has orig. paint and has not been jacked with will go for more than one that has been "restored" and in some circles one that has been hacked up into a cafe race bike will go for more. In my book i would pay more for an all original bike with patina than one with shorty mufflers and cafe bars that has been painted. so to your question
it all depends on what YOU want. A decent runner minor work done to it paint, seals tires aftermarket or shorty mufflers bobed front fender that has title and has current tags may go for 1,500 to 2 grand. it's all about condition. An all orig. good running bike with title could go up to 5 grand at the top end"more or less". then you get into details. My 64 cb72 250 hawk i read someplace that only 750 were sold in the U.S and mine is blue which from what i hear is rare in the U.S most were red or black some white. So add it up how many 64 cb72's out of 750 sold that were blue exist in the U.S today????? how much is that worth to someone?? who knows maybe allot maybe not.
