reproduction wiring harness "B"

Post by G-GAURD » Sun Mar 13, 2011 7:27 pm

hi
has anyone seen or purchased the reproduction "B" harness on ebay ?

item #150537185409

in the past i have bought items from BANGKOK and they seem to be child size so i have sent them back such as handlebars for my CA77 and grips that fit on my sons handlebars for his razor scooter.i have asked the seller if he has actually sampled the harness on a CL77 so that if a purchase is made all shipping fees will be refunded.

please post if there's someone who has seen and sampled

take care

Ah, then that explains I have on my CB77.

Don't have any better picture's of the 'B' (thought I had, but can't find them)
But this cable harness is at least 12years old, so I don't know if things have changed over time.

But this cable fits perfectly, didn't even knew it wasn't original untill you opened this topic.

Every thing matches up correctly with the original colors.

I can't tell if this is really the 'Bangkok' version, but I does have a 'B' on it and some numbers.
But no year-date as the original should have. So I suspect now, my is a 'Bangkok' harness, no problems here... :)

Bangcock wire harness purchase

Post by MINIGUNZ » Thu Mar 31, 2011 8:47 am

Hello Guys CL72/77 HARNESS B
I am a 37 year experiance vetran Honda Tech, I purchased the EBAY Thailand harness knowing it was risky, and after laying it out next to the OEM harness there are mistakes, I use anOEM Honda connector kit all the time to repair stock harnesses and it came in handy for the correction on the Thailand Harness, first mistake was the tiny rectifier eyes, they need to be reamed to a larger hole size to work on a OEM Rectifier screws , second : KEYSWITCH : the TL post (tailight ) White wire to the tailight is missing from the key switch to the tailight, 3rd : the IG (ignition)wire to the rectifier + should be a red wire, instead it's white and grouped to fit the the rectifier team only. confusing color mistakes require time to trace his circuit out so it won't be a short to ground or worse smoke the harness,There is no 12 inch long green ground wire in the kit to connect the headlight grounds to the Ignition coil bracket as it is stock.
all in all it works fine but unless your 12 volt savy it's a challenge, email me any questions
