Late replies as usual. Jerry thanks for the big end info, as you said there are always plenty of opinions available about these things and sometimes some one elses misfortune ( if there's enough left of it ) can help sort out your problem. Anyway I think your take on it makes more sense than mine anyway so next crank build I will give the single roller cages another go with the mods required. Still dont know about 13500rpm though, at least not with me on it !

I looked at one of the Dan Titchmarsh RC163 chassis last year, very nice, I think in the UK they will mainly be sold to people making 4 cyl .lookalikes ( dont like to call something with a water cooled CBR engine a "replica" ) Currently they would not fit into UK classic / vintage regs. as far as I know, obviously the Australian regs. are diffrent but I dont know about the USA ?
Mind you they would make a good looking machine so mabey thats good enough reason to build one if you can afford it .

I better start posting some CB72 stuff soon or I will get thrown out !

Finally got down to Sammy's museum yesterday with a couple of friends. What a great day out. I didn't expect to see this collection of Hondas. His entire collection is stunning with some very rare and exotic racers. Well worth a look if you ever make it to England!

I was mightily impressed with this Honda RC181 replica built as a limited production of 15 bikes by a guy in Hungary. Maybe not as faithful as the George Beale Honda 6 but great fun and probably a lot more usable.

to tell you the truth i am just dying to have any vintage style tank for my cb77, i just love the long skinny look.

do you know anyone with a used tank or a place to look for one i have a few nice parts to trade plus $

You're welcome. Sorry I don't know of anyone with a tank to sell. Peter Keyte is only available by telephone (+44 1386 554 136). I'm told his waiting list is very long. I got my tank second hand from the guy who commissioned it.
