Just got my Chrome back

OK I went through Deters Metal Finishing, you can find him as spewicksvintage on Ebay. He knows these bikes, and the chrome looks great. I really enjoyed dealing with him... His prices are fair and the work was completed in a timely manner.<br /><br />-Bill

Can I ask what you ended up paying for the rechroming. I have been contemplating jobbing out some chroming myself but having never done it before I'm not sure what to expect price wise.

I cannot speak for Deter's, but I just did some chrome work on my CL72, which as we all know has probably the least chrome of all of the 250/305 Hondas. I'm not sure if I got ripped off, or if chrome is just plain expensive......$600.

Depeter,et all, I just got back some chrome work from my chromer Sharps plating in Midwest City,OK.
It is one brake arm(mounts on the hub on my cb77) One brake stay(the flat bar that goes between the left fork tube and the brake drum). One rear brake stay (the long one). All cost 115.00 Not sure if that is good or not. Iv'e also done biz with Deters in Minn. was very happy with his work too. Steve Greer
