Davo just posted that info in another thread yesterday. I looked for it, but could not find it. Do a search. Or maybe he'll read this thread and repost it here.

Not to tell anyone how to run a site, but unpublished specs should probably be gathered in one location and posted here in a reference section. Just a thought.

regards,
Rob

16 foot LBS is standard torque. Most of us go a couple pounds higher, and retorque after 24 hours as the gaskets will settle in.

i checked the timing , and moved it backward one tooth. But then the engine hardly worked , very slowly , and i checked the compression. It was 100 so it doesn't seem to be the problem ...

Any suggestions ?

Good that you cleared up that question, but we were really talking about ign timing, not cam timing in the last couple of messages. Thought is iggy is too advanced.

Mr. on the run.
Ya can't just change the cam to chain to crank to piston position and not have a major problem.
If ya will add your location to your profile I'd be more than happy to offer help. ........lm

Ignition timing does seems to be the isue , as the detonations noise of the engine starts at around 4000 that is when ignition starts to get advenced .

Checking the igniton with the masor gun its only sets on "F" when its on the latest position , but then the engine got no power at all till 3000rpm , and the detonation keeps coming at 4000 getting lauder as the rpm get higher till 6000 which is the max it can get ...

Thanks ..

Michael.
