Hey Cyc,

Agreed - What should I use to lube the throttle cable? suggestions?

Also, might want to lube up your throttle cable as good measure. Not sure if that spike in RPM is a sticky throttle cable, slide, or whatever but best to cover all bases.

Use a spray lubricant with one of those straws. Something thin enough that will work it's way down like liquid wrench or equivalent. Others on here might have a preference that works best. Then, just disconnect the cable at the lever and start loading it from the top. Keep the cable tied up high to allow the lube to drain down towards the bottom. After an hour or so, add another squirt or two, connect the cable, and work your throttle to help lube it up.

Check the carb adjust section and go through the steps from beginning to end for good measure as well.

Nice - I scored a can of WD40 last night... Going to try to feed lube into the lines some time next week or so... depends on when I can get the time. I will shoot another video once they are lubed to see if its still happening...
